The European Schools are an intergovernmental organisation offering multilingual and multicultural education. Job description The locally recruited teachers are hired under the employee status to teach in the nursery cycle. Profile · Native speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language (Greek: certified C2 level) · Recognized qualifications and/or university degree (validated by the national authorities) which qualify to teach in the nursery school · Knowledge of the second working language of the school (English/French) · European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Belgium · Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation · Strong motivation in teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment · Ability to work and to cooperate with colleagues, management and families Offer We are offering contracts in accordance with the Service regulations for the locally recruited teachers in the European schools (Ref.: 2016-05-D-11-en-18) available on the EE website: - Starting day : As soon as possible - Availability : The school is offering a replacement/ad interim contract (ca. 25,5 hours per week) for an expected period of 2 months (prolongation is possible if absence continues). - Gross salary: Ad interim teacher shall be paid €43,77 for one hour in primary and nursery classes.
